Back in V-town!

Sept. 10 & 11, 2010 - From our sweet stop in Berkeley, we head further south, 221 miles on the 99 to our last stop over of the trip, Visalia, to hang out with one of my dearest best gals, Tawnya.  Once again, Visalia greets us with some hot central valley weather and a warm welcome from my favorite Zito family.

Tawnya and I spent some needed girl time and locked ourselves in the room with Project Runway (middle school all over again!), vintage clothing talk & swap, as well as the latest gossip!  We enjoyed the company of her parents, Freddie & Linda and also scored a most random, rare find in the city of Exeter, a quaint French restaurant called Monet's, with a jazz soloist bringing us back memories of the French Quarter in New Orleans.  Once again, a great stop in Visalia with great people.  A most fitting way to end our road trip.

TZ and I on Visalia's main drag... I was so happy to borrow biker-free clothes!!
joan jetta!
Charlie takes us out on our 3 year anniversary!!! Yes, it's been that long, and TZ actually spent 2 of the 3 years having an anniversary date with us!
Hmmm... are we really this happy after 3 years, or is it just fabulous fake smiles?
A bid farewell from the Zito's, Linda & Fred with our beloved Pearl.
