April 28, 2010 - Our next camp was at Torreya State Park in the the city of Bristol, FL. We headed 185 miles continuing east on the 10. This overnight camp sat on high sandy bluffs overlooking the Apalachicola River. Torreya in also know for it's rare Torreya tree that grows only on the bluffs of the river. We were chill this night, no hiking, so no view of the rare tree or the river. 2 nights of straight biking with setting up camp and taking it down, all we wanted to do was pass out.
A walk through the lagoon.
Sandy pines on our leisurely walk towards the coast.
Crazy little armadillo hiding by the grill.
Cute marsh rabbit munching on grass.
Charlie watching the marsh rabbit in the distance, past the tent.
Multi-colored sunset through the sandy pines.
