Bennington, Vermont

May 21, 2010 - Leaving Boston via Salem, we travel 175 miles, right through the gorgeous, super green, Green Mountain National Forest in Vermont to Bennington, VT.  We arrive our overnight stop early evening and enjoy walking the historic town, known for the Battle of Bennington during the Revolution in 1777.  We pulled in to a quaint motel right next to their Gothic church, had a late dinner and strolled around on the bike the following day through the historic covered bridges.

Our quaint motel in Bennington next to an awesome Gothic church.
Love the inside structure of the bridges.
