Arches National Park, UT

June 17, 2010 - Leaving Canyonlands, we drive an easy 30 miles back to Moab, our overnight motel stop.  We take a breathtaking late afternoon tour of the unusual Arches National Park, just a few miles from the city.  Arches has over 2,000 natural sandstone arches.  We visited a few and hiked around this other-worldy, Mars-like terrain.

Hike with a view of Delicate Arch.
A closer view of Delicate Arch on the left.
Window Arch with it's tourists hiking in pilgrimage fashion.
Spot Charlie (click on pic to blow it up)!  He went for a climb as I sat and enjoyed the landscape.
Pearl and her photo shoot with a spectacular background.
More great views.  Spot Pearl in the background!
