Delta Junction, AK - We Finish the Alaska Highway!!!

Aug. 5, 2010 - 108 miles from Tok, we reach the end of the Alaska Highway in Delta Junction!  Charlie and I were too happy to complete this famed highway.  We spent a fabulously earned night at a motel and ate at Buffalo Drive In, a tasty joint that my cousin, Vanessa recommended after spending 2 summers in this town.  We also had our first view of the Alaska Pipeline!  Providing fuel for us all! haha.  Great historic stop after a crappy first day in Tok.
